Putting it extremely short and simple- the TurboTax card is extremely beneficial for getting your tax refund quick.,this can be done as fast as eight days. Being unbiased we can go on to say that the main reason why its so quick is that there is no credit check or bank account involved, and the deposit goes straight onto your  card. The card itself easily interleaved into your TurboTax software so that all your tax information and specifics are conveniantly accessible. This helps greatly after filing taxes as refund amount can be credited to your card immediatly and can be withdrawn from a wide Moneypass network that operates through 22,000 surcharge free ATMs.

The webite is not user friendly. I keep getting the info I am typing in does not match, this has been an issue since I set up everything and activated my card. ( I know I typed the correct information). There is also issues with trying to call the phone number provided since I have yet to get through, I keep getting disconnected. My wife is having the same issue. I am starting to regret having chosen this card as the method of payment.

turbotax is full of lying and unreliable employees…they said we would get our card on or before he 9th of feb well we didnt get it and everytime we called we got a different date of when the card would be here and that they couldnt take the money off the card and put it in our bank account. so on the 14th we had to report that card stolen and have it cancelled so they could send another card they said they would fedex the card and we would get it on the 17th and that they couldnt give us the tracking number until the 3rd day of not recieving the card anyway make a long story short we had to go to the fedex office this morning all the way in rainbow city to get our card our 7200 dollars was put on the card by the irs on the 7th and we had to wait until today and still had to go pick it up…and then we almost never got it acctivated…when we did we looked on the account and they charged us 29.95 to fedex it and also charged us 4.95 for a card replacement fee….why should we have

  5. kristi says:

why should we be cgarged 29.95 plus 4.95 for them to fix their mess up…its the first time we have used their service and i promise it will be the last…turbotax is so unreliable its pathetic…they said they couldnt get the money off the card to put it our bank account but it just seems so funny to me that they could get on the card and take out 29.95 plus 4.95 additional to the 96.00 dollars they charged for using their services that is a headache tio begin with…its not user friendly and the employees are liers they are slow and the most unreliable people i have ever had to deal with in my entire life…so people if you want your money on time dont use turbotax please

I was among all the other mislead consumers that decided to use the TT card, but what a joke!!! I filed my taxes on Feb 2 2012 and decided to have my refund deposited to the TT card. I was then sent an email stating I should receive my card on or before the 12th of Feb.. I failed to receive my card so I called on Mon 2/13 and was assured by cust.srvc that the card was sent out and the rep strongly recommended me not to cancel stating it would probably be in the mail by Wed Feb 15th because the original date I was given thru the “refund tracker” android app. download recommended by TT was ALWAYS wrong so the cst srvc. Rep urged me not to cancel until Wed 2/15 but not to worry it should definately be in the mail within the next few days..after 3 different calls to TT visa cardholder srv and 30+min wait times…I reorded the card on Friday 17th, but now I will have to pay 19.99 for another 2-3 or 5-7 day wait depending on whichever TT rep was correct.. So as of today Feb 22nd and I still havent received a TT card even though the Irs DD my refund over a week ago..but what’s really sad Im a single parent and recently unemployed due to certain financial circumstances..”BUT I HAVE $$ I CAN’T ACCESS WAITING ON THAT STUPID CARD!!!! SMH!! I’ve ran out of people to help me and my two kids out;(!! Because that card TT never sent that I never got holds our groceries for the month, rent, the parts for our broken vehicle and insurance coverage and reinstated license so ill be able to commute the new job I’ve been looking foward to.. So while to them its a just a system error in there systems…its damaged my lively hood and made this years tax season completely stressful and total ciaos!! Ill will be filing with HRBLOCK NEXT tax season whom I’ve never had any problems with and I would NEVER recommend TURBOTAX to anyone!! Not even to my worst enemy!! Please pray for me and my family!!! Usually this is against everything I believe in but Oh Yeah! if there’s a lawsuit im DEFINATELY interested!!

    • jojo22 says:

@felicia hope your financial life is sorted out asap,,,ive never been through a chaotic tax term as my accountant takes that stress for me,but i can imagine you must have gone through hell

I went through the samething with turbo tax card and this review is a bullshit ass lie. I filed my taxes on february 5,2012 and they said my card should arrive they 17th it never arrived so I kept calling and like always I”m placed on hold for atleast 30 or 40 min before I can to speak with anyone then finally when I was able to speak with anyone I was assured that my card was in the mail and would arrive soon well it never did and Im highly pissed that I had to order another one. So I ordered another last friday on the 24th and I hope it arrives soon. There’s no way that it should take 7-10 days for a card to be sent first class mail from California or Florida when it does even take that long to drive or fly there. Turbo tax is full of it and if I don’t receive my card by next week or if I have any problems with my card I will be continue on with my lawsuit !!!!!!!! Oh and there is also a class action in progress against turbo tax at this moment!!!!

    • jojo22 says:

james, we’ve tried to keep this review as unbiased as we can.im sure you mustbe going through hell right now,and so are many other tt card users. Our best guess is that during tax time tt cant cope and hence the delay.hope things work out for you quick

Will NEVER use again!!!! Tried to pay 2 bills and both were rejected. I was charged NSF fees!

  10. Melinda says:

I will NEVER accept Turbotax Card as an option for my refund again. They make it so difficult to get your money. If you were planning on using your refund to pay down debt, its nearly impossible. Credit cards require you pay through a routing number and account number which you won’t get through Turbotax Card. If you try to pay by phone there’s a fee involved, my credit card charges $15.00 to pay by phone. The only way to get around it was to go into a bank, accept the fee of $2.50 and take out the max amount allowed to put towards my bill. I am very disappointed with the service. It feels like a scam. You have your money there on this little card but you can not get to it unless you allow them to charge you for it. Its disgusting. Best of luck.

  11. Sue says:

I think Turbotax is great, but the whole card thing is a mess. Here it is 11/7/12; we filed late and are going through the same thing you all did. They’ve not gotten any better. How are they still getting away with this?!. We’ll be watching for the class action suit.
